ARTICLE CATALOG - Voodoo Doll. Love Spell. Curse

First of all, I would like to note about the name itself: "voodoo doll," which is not entirely accurate and is commonly used in discussions about "involvement." In reality, this is called involvement - the impact on a person through their wax or clay doll, representing them.

So, involvement existed in many cultures in traditions, for example, among Assyrians, Sumerians, Egyptians, Greeks, Slavs, Romans, and of course, among African and Native American peoples. Why are they specifically called "Voodoo Doll," "Voodoo Doll Love Spell," "Voodoo Doll Curse," and so on: Because not so long ago, 2-3 centuries ago, this art was glorified by African ethnic groups, whose representatives were brought from Africa for enslavement and work on plantations captured by the English and Spaniards in America. Africans sought revenge against their "masters" - slave owners, cursed them, and inflicted curses using the so-called "voodoo dolls." They were often caught by surprise or exposed through the discovery of "worked" voodoo dolls. As a result, African sorcerers were subjected to brutal executions for such rituals. Thanks to the Inquisition and their meticulous destruction of deep-seated knowledge in the traditional European and Slavic ethnic groups, it was completely forgotten that the sorcerers and shamans of these nations possessed the same technologies as Voodoo sorcerers: involvement, object spells, spells on people, etc. In the minds of those times, modern European associations with involvement were firmly tied to Voodoo traditions, or rather even "Hoodoo" (specifically witchcraft). Since then, the term "Voodoo Doll" has become popular. A closer examination of this interpretation of the word can be found in quotes from encyclopedias and Wikipedia:

Voodoo Doll - a doll used in Voodoo sorcery (and in some other beliefs), which, through a special ritual, becomes an intermediary or has a link to a specific person. Once the connection is established, thanks to the law of similarity, the owner of the doll can influence the person it symbolizes (usually causing harm, disrupting the person's energy field or basic functions, i.e., destructively). To create the doll, fragments of the victim's body (nails, hair, secretions) and/or items belonging to them (e.g., a piece of clothing) must be used. After the doll is made, it is usually hidden close to the victim or buried near a place the victim frequents. There are also Slavic analogs, such as "Navii" or dead dolls. The difference is that the doll is made over three days with thoughts of the person it represents, imbued with the victim's characteristic traits. It works at any distance and without direct contact, using any suitable material for its making.

This is what official sources tell us.

I would like to add the following: Involvement, "Voodoo Doll," is used both in love spells and curses, as well as in lifting spells, curses, and rituals for luck, success, and health. Put simply, Involvement (Voodoo Doll) is used in both destructive and constructive rituals. In love spells involving involvement, commonly referred to as "Voodoo Doll Love Spell" in everyday language, the wax or clay dolls are connected face to face and either sewn with black threads, pinned with needles, or tied with red ribbons, causing the desired impact on those being enchanted. Love spells through involvement, such as "Voodoo Doll Love Spell," are considered one of the strongest and can sometimes lead to actual "zombification" of the subjects. They are conducted only in extreme and necessary cases. Curses through involvement - "Voodoo Curse," or "Voodoo Doll Curse," visually appear as follows: A wax or other natural components doll - "Voodoo Doll" with the mentioned personal belongings (hair, nails, photos, items of clothing closely related to the victim's body) is pierced with several needles heated on burning candles. While piercing, cursing spells and incantations are recited against the "victim." After the puncturing of the Voodoo Doll with heated needles, this "creation" is either buried in a grave bearing the victim's name, placed in a pile of animal remains at a slaughterhouse, burned, drowned in a swamp, or thrown into the victim's dwelling. Each case is highly individual. Following this, the victim may experience a period of severe illness, followed by death or complications from injuries caused by severe diseases. In any case, it is not recommended for Magic novices to expect "stunning" and rapid results. Effectiveness primarily depends on the accumulated Magical Power and Skill. I always advise starting the Path to Magic with Protection and Strength Building.

In rituals for good luck and fortune, a doll - the Voodoo doll - is usually made according to "Occult Rules' instructions." It is then dedicated in a similar way. Later on, it is cleansed, smoked with suitable incenses, anointed with ritual oils, charmed, placed in a specific location for a certain period. After all these procedures, this "creation" is placed in its owner's designated, ritual-assigned place. Such actions and their "derivative" are often referred to as a "named doll" in Occultism or as a result of a synthesis of Occult language with everyday language, commonly known as the "named Voodoo doll." Eventually, the prepared named doll begins to act as a talisman, bringing prosperity and other joys to the home or life of the individual for whom it was designed and charmed. The Mage-Operator invests a lot of energy, mental "costs," and Power in this labor. Similarly, personal dolls can be created and intended for good luck in personal life, seeking love, strengthening family unions (in this case, two dolls are explicitly used for both participating individuals), harmonizing relationships in couples (both "named Voodoo dolls" are designated), integrity and preservation (protecting against misfortunes and calamities), etc. The area of applications for benevolent involvements is also quite extensive. In this field of involvement for good purposes, the following two points should not be utilized...

1. Volting purely for oneself. That is, creating a personalized volt. Or, in simpler terms: Creating your own "personal Voodoo doll." The main argument for this is that the Operator-Mage, or even a novice adept of the Occult, who performs such actions as "involvement," on the Mental plane positions and identifies themselves with the Highest Essence, the "creator of life and endowing life." Or, simply put, with the "CREATOR" (By no means implying the "creator" from Abrahamic or other "white world" religions. Pagan Deities, according to ancient scriptures, also created living beings). So, the Practitioner certainly does not become the "CREATOR," but symbolically, in Occult Work, identifies with it. And embracing this fact, their Spiritual Growth and Development occurs. By performing rituals involving volting, they are already laying the necessary segments for their further Self-development, even when they will continue to evolve to Higher Levels of Beings on a Subtle Level after physical Death. And definitely, like all of them, outside of time and space - Endlessly. Because there are no "peak points in Development." Any Higher Beings evolve beyond "physical-material worlds." And, naturally - ENDLESSLY. Moving away from abstraction and lyricism - let's return to the topic. So, a Practitioner who practices volting is obligated to GROW and DEVELOP, not to lower themselves back to the level of an ordinary living being, from which they took their very first steps into Occultism and Self-development. Thus, by making a gross mistake and volting themselves, the Practitioner risks returning to the "starting position," losing a lot in the end. They may not end up exactly at the initial level, but they will still lose a lot and face a lot of troubles in the process. If the Practitioner needs something from earthly physical well-being, they will achieve it through other methods suited specifically for the Practitioner, not for the regular mortal on whom volting is practiced in Occultism. Otherwise, they would become both the "CREATOR" and a simple mortal. The result - inconsistency, "imbalance," strong side effects.

2. Volting for good or for any constructive purpose using a Cemetery, Cemetery attribute, and overall Death energy. Death, decay, decomposition, sorrow, grief, global losses, despair, misfortune, etc., do not contribute to constructive creations. Usually, volting through the energy of Death is solely directed towards destructive purposes. Similarly, burying a volt simply in the ground, even if not in a cemetery, will cause the "doll-volt" to deteriorate in the earth, naturally losing its constructive qualities and eventually producing destructive outcomes. Burning, drowning in water, leaving it out in the open - will definitely not bring any benefits, but quite the opposite.

Many Masters of Occultism who provide services in this area create talismans and amulets. They engage in both destructive and benevolent volting. A Voodoo doll - a personalized volt is also made to order. As mentioned above - for acquiring luck, happiness, protection, harmonizing relationships, for protection, etc. In general, a talisman in the form of a "personal Voodoo doll-volt" works very well, enduring and qualitatively affecting as intended. The scope of influence of this creation is maximum and global. If you, Dear Readers and Visitors of my resource, experience suffering, mental distress for various reasons, and are in need of such assistance, I personally am ready to help by providing a similar talisman. My Occult Work is carried out with careful and strict calculations, exclusively on an individual basis, with appropriate instructions for observing further rules. You can order such a talisman using the contact mail, phone, or simply the feedback form listed in the Contacts section.
