UNITY WITH NATURE

Note: This practice is carried out alone, preferably in a mixed forest outside the city limits. It is best to approach this well-rested and relaxed. It is advisable to start the practice at dawn; walk through the dew, lie down on the sleepy grass in the rays of the morning sun, and so on.

The Light Side (Daytime Part)
One should move from the edge into the depths of the forest along animal paths or paths of power (more on them below). Once in the forest, breathe deeply (inhales should be 10-12 seconds shorter than exhales). Speed up your breathing, pay attention to your diaphragm. When in the right state, walk slowly along the edge, continuing to breathe deeply, and you will find places where the air is denser. These are energy concentration spots. Stand there, feel that you are made of the same matter as everything around you, let the energy flow through you without holding onto it. Soon a state of euphoria will set in. You will find that everything around you is subject to a single force of rotation. Approach a tree. If it's a birch, caress it, embrace its slender, maidenly form. If it's a young maple, interact with it, bond with it. If it's an old mighty oak, touch your head to it, feel its wisdom and strength: what are we compared to it! From all places of power in the forest, paths emerge. Follow them. Most likely, they lead to clearings. Lie down where it is sunniest, in the center. Place your palms on the grass, feel the life sap flowing through them from the earth through the stems upwards, how all living things reach for the Sun. This is the great mystery of life! Imagine that you are the grass-ant. Imagine how roots grow from your back to the center of the earth under the force of gravity, drawing energy from you. The sun's rays warm and tickle your skin, beckoning upwards.
The feeling of joy and tranquility should not leave you. You may fall asleep in the grass bed...

The Dark Side (Evening Part)
Nothing lives forever, and as one thing dies, it gives new life to another. Thus, day is replaced by night, life is replaced by death...
After sunset, you must find an old fir or pine. Lie down under it in the "embryo pose" with your head to the west. Breathe evenly and deeply. Don't rush, your mind must prepare and come to terms with the end of life. This may take several hours. Feel how your strength, along with the sun, fades away (unpleasant sensations in the area of the solar plexus or fontanelle are possible). Tears may flow, a sense of sorrow and loneliness may arise. Imagine your body dying, your soul leaving it; it cools and hardens - the twilight of life sets in. At this moment, fear of death may appear, some parts of the body may temporarily fail, the pulse may slow down.
If you are ready, the tree will bury you among its roots like a dear brother, covering you with moss. You only need to ask permission from the earth to come to it. But inevitably, the earth will refuse: your turn to look into the eyes of Morena has not yet come.

Glory to Rus! Glory to Ancestors! Glory to Gods!
