MAGIC OF SOUNDS

The magic of sounds is one of the most effective and ancient forms of magic, considered the highest art by our ancestors. This type of magic includes playing musical instruments, singing, chanting, and spellcasting. It is believed that the magic of sounds has the ability to convey necessary information to the world of the dead. There have been and are now many chants, tunes, spells, and incantations that can provoke various natural phenomena such as heavy rains with hail, fires, droughts, and more. Possibly, musical tones were more of a tuning of the consciousness of the sorcerer and their audience to achieve the desired effect, but this can only be considered a hypothesis, as it may only be one influencing factor. The desired effect is achieved through combinations of sounds of different tones, intensity, and rhythms, providing a broad range of effects on the physiology and psyche of humans, animals, and even the plant world, affecting natural phenomena as a whole. In the process of this magic, the sorcerer themself is most affected, as their singing or playing alters their perception, aligning them to a different key necessary for creating an impact.

It is well known that everything we see, hear, and feel continuously changes drop by drop our worldview, character, behavior patterns, and the intensity of perception. The magic of sounds is the most powerful and effective tool in these transformations. Sound is closely linked to breathing, and breathing is interrelated with a person's psychological state, the quality of attention, and the level of absorption.

First Sounds

Vowels are among the most reflective sounds of a person's emotional state, and their intonation gives a particular quality to our self-perception, allowing us to establish ourselves more solidly in the necessary states. The influence of chanting the first sounds can be described as follows:

A - states ranging from full strength and joyful excitement to hysterical panic depending on tonal changes; changes in intensity impart qualities from depth, sensitivity, to unbreakable, irresistible essence. Become like fierce fire.

O - relaxation, tranquility, internal harmony, and liveliness. Become like a small fire.

E - states ranging from physical readiness for action to neutral-emotional excitement of motor activity. Become like air.

I - impartiality, calmness, centeredness, focusing on one's essence, reducing the influence of external irritants, purity. Become like the center of the elements.

Y - the sound of the mystical guda, repelling from everyday bustle, awakening dark (forgotten) strings of the soul, longing for the unknown. Become like deep earth.

U - inflexibility, determination, constrained by circumstances. The flow of life forces, weakening the perception of the material world, but immersing in the quagmire of the mind's sediment, drawing into a whirlpool of fragmented dreams. Become like water.

Voice Knots

Consonant sounds determine the direction of qualitative changes in perception settings and contribute to a more precise interweaving of vowel sounds (conveying a specific emotional state) into the web of the desired state. Thus, these are more like knots (runes) of emotional well-being, repeating which time after time leads to a more accurate alignment with the desired state. It is worth mentioning one point here - if the vowel comes before the knot, it is the present state, if after, it is the flowing state. For example: the knotted sound "M" when chanted instinctively correlates with our body through its womb-like vibration; here, chanting a-a-m induces bodily pleasure, while chanting m-ma-a reflects a greater need for satisfaction. It may be worth listing some of the vowel knots that have a corresponding meaningful form:

C - connection.

V - to blow, to penetrate, maturity.

L - flow, attraction.

H - union, connection.

R - horn, abundance, gift.

Zh - humidity.

Sacred Syllables

Sacred syllables are nested in the names of gods and ancient roots of words, influencing most openly our mind and evoking in us the latent Power of alignment.

As an example of such syllables, we can mention:

Sva - one's own, native.

Goy - pure, beautiful.

Ve - wise.

Le - harmonious.

Si - being.

Ni - shadowy.

Vi - penetrating.

Stry - insightful, experienced.

Horoslavy (koloslavy), incantations

Essentially the same as Eastern mantras, that is, the invocation of gods, other spirits and beings, praising them. Invocations of gods and spirits are constructed in an imperative tone, praise in the superlative. An example of the first type of horoslavy:

Mara mother, Mara mother!

Measure our fate without delay.

Grandfather Volos - pull the sheaf,

Grandfather Volos - admire the braids.

And the second type:

Glory to Perun! Glory to Perun!

Endow the world with the radiance of fire!

Incantations, spells, oaths, etc.

The modern form of incantations can be seen in the examples of self-training formulas and tuning texts by Dr. Sytin. It also takes the following form:

I will go (name) into the field without hiding, facing the clear sky - being fulfilled by the bright sun, strengthened by the fierce wind. Awaken, eager energy, break the bonds of sorrow, remove the burdensome yoke as spoken. Weave a red destiny, a glorious and prosperous destiny. The word spoken firmly before the gods from now until eternity.

The word, like sound in general, serves the intention (weaving the threads of right) like a needle for a thread. Clothing the weave into the fabric of reality manifests the desired outcome. The same can be done through "guiding the force." A vow, incantation, or other utterance spoken spontaneously once will clothe your destiny in the threads of the spoken word, and the Fate of Fortune or Misfortune will follow the threads of the Right (laws of creation) manifesting what has been said. Only a frivolous word, devoid of your essence and almost two-faced, will have little influence on destiny and manifestation.

Animal language

The animal language is empathetic and conveys the essence of what is said not by the form of the sound, but by quality and physical expression. Mastering the tonal color of sound, teaching your body to be eloquent, you will be able to communicate with animals and understand them in a natural and effortless way. There is no room for duplicity here; physical expression cannot be faked, all intentions are visible in it.

Contemplation of sounds

Chanting primal sounds (vowel sounds):

1. Chanting sounds harmoniously, in a circle, or in silence alone, listen to the Unity of Full Sound around you - merge with it.

2. Merge with the Truth (the unified quality, law) with one of the divine forces using a sacred syllable.

3. Gradually quiet down with a long, quiet, and sad hum, feel the silence of stillness and come out to the true Sources.

4. Hearing a prolonged song or lament, or perhaps the harmonies of lutes, stand in the flow of this and dissolve your mind, guiding your mask into the river of sounds. This way you will transcend boundaries.

5. Cooling your heart with sorrow, vow to come to the Sources, and listen.

Practice the spirit, destroying its enemies

The most ardent enemy of a city dweller is the distractibility of the spirit, attention that hinders concentration. To a much lesser extent, this applies to rural dwellers who have constant contact with nature. Numerous distractions, constant haste, the ever-increasing flow of information, and accumulating eternal irritability all divert our attention from ourselves, from feeling our own essence. In fact, all distractions, in any form, anchor us in the commonplace, scatter our spirit, and distance us from ourselves. Our eternal search for new sensations and the need to survive in this world tear our spirit apart, shattering its integrity. Helplessness causes our attention to spread over insignificant objects and phenomena, while willpower should firmly cement the integrity of our attention. Strengthening the will is the achievement of constancy and steadfastness in its manifestations, cutting off the multivalence of the mind.

Practice listening and vocalizing

For the spirit, the development of breathing is beneficial, such as chanting prolonged sounds, playing wind instruments, and listening to them, as well as listening to string instruments while playing them. Overall, developing breathing and listening gives the spirit power, agility, and flexibility.

Sound tunes our spirit to different feelings, and the main thing here is not to excessively indulge in a single mood to avoid depleting our life force. Otherwise, the spirit will suffer and waver from the sensation of incompleteness and the inexpressibility of an indefinite quality. To prevent this, it is necessary to sometimes change the rhythm, frequency, and intensity of breathing exercises (such as playing instruments, singing, listening to them, etc.). For example, intense, powerful, and sharp inhales and exhales make the mind and body ignite, setting them in motion and involving them in the whirl of life.
