BONE EGG
Antechamber
To adequately understand what will be discussed here and in similar texts, it is necessary to achieve an understanding of the following:
Our ancestors described the intertwining of ordinary and magical life in their perception in a figurative and poetic form, and understanding everything literally (as is commonly done) is not very wise.
The name of this practice comes from fairy tales about Koshchei's death, the Snake, and others. As we remember, the description of Koshchei's (and the Snake's) death represents the structure of the soul according to Slavic beliefs, which forms the basis for magical tricks and practices. I remind you: The Island of Buyan symbolizes the incomprehensibility of what is described. The Oak is your kin. The Chest on the oak - the body chained to the oak with blood ties (the death of the Snake in the stone). From the chest (stone) emerges a hare (boar) - the tribal soul, the shadow soul, the emotional body. From the hare flies a duck - the seer, the bird soul, the butterfly soul, the body of dreams, the body of understanding. From the duck into the World Ocean (which is the Kin) falls Koshchei's egg - the Soul itself, squeezing which causes him terrible pain, and crushing it kills him. In the egg, there may also be a needle (arrow; yolk, and within it a stone, throwing which at the Snake can kill him) - essentially, this is the Spirit that animates the Soul, enclosed within it. The tip of the needle (arrow) - attention, its sharpness, is the engagement of attention, the ear (feathering), is the essence of understanding. The thread - actions, deeds, and the canvas on which this thread is sewn - is the material world, fate in the Universe.
Thus, Koshchei's Egg (Egg of Kin) is essentially the shell of souls, uniting them.
In the legends and tales of many peoples, including the Slavs, descriptions can be found of ancient people who had a body in the form of an egg (of course, these are not tangible bodies, but visions), and mentions that those people were equal to the gods. In Slavic tales, the form of an egg comes through dreams (by tuning up to the seer), entering the Kin, but to approach this reality in everyday life, the following methods can be used.
Potvor
To feel the incomprehensible, it is necessary to first develop a correspondence to it in a similar way. To do this, one should move along the path indicated.
The first step:
The Island of Buyan. A magical island in the Ocean.
Achieving detachment from the ordinary, eliminating the inert involvement of the mind in everyday slow-moving thoughts about the surroundings. Shifting attention to the numinous (seer's) perception of the world, that is, the simultaneous sensation of the entire environment of the body.
Second Step:
The Green Tree, the ancient Oak with a chest chained to it. The Stone.
Here, it is necessary to feel the entire body as a unified whole. To do this, the body must be relaxed joint by joint, muscle by muscle, and then feel the entire body simultaneously. While maintaining this posture, attention flows to the next step.
Third Step:
The Hare, the Boar.
The tribal soul, or the soul of passion, is felt when the sensation of weightlessness, floating in the body, envelops the individual. However, the tribal soul is tied by sensations and emotions to the body and almost never leaves it, so attention should move further. Here, the restlessness of attention and the attachment of the mind to the body will interfere, not allowing us to detach from it, invoking fear. Unnoticed, we frantically cling our attention to bodily sensations. It is only possible to rid oneself of this by losing voluntary control over what is happening, inducing sensations of falling or soaring, depending on the required quality of perception. This action occurs through the establishment of mental silence and dissolution in the sensations of holistic perception.
In another manner, by extending sensations beyond the body limits, focusing attention on the simultaneous sensation of the space around the body to the thickness of the palm's hand, one transitions from ordinary attention to this soul.
Fourth Step:
The Duck, the Drake (one can recall the tale of the creation of the earth).
When conscious control over the mind vanishes, attention will flow into the seer, and the setting of falling or soaring will come into effect. You will rise above the body, like a duck emerging from the water.
Otherwise, extend attention in a state of ordinary consciousness around the body elbow, feeling this space simultaneously (for perceiving the essence of the subject of interest, use sensations of elongation and merging). This leads to clairvoyance and guidance beyond words...
