ARTICLE CATALOG - ARCHDEMON KUTHU

Spirit - Assistant, Protector, Companion, Ally, etc. Demon - Raven.

Greetings to all Readers and Visitors of my resources! In this topic, we will discuss the Spirit, or the Demon of the Highest Rank, primarily taking the form of a huge Black Raven. This Archdemon is mainly known to the Shamans of Northern peoples. He is considered their protector of Shamanism and Successful Hunting. It is also believed that only the Northern Shamans have made contact with Him, thus "granting Him glory and fame" among the people. Additionally, Shamanic Practices associated with this Raven and Spiritualism Rituals are relevant.
The Raven, as a bird, is present in the totems of many ethnic groups and is somehow connected to the World of Darkness, Death, and the World of the Dead. Therefore, in Shamanism, He has a direct relationship to these aspects. There are multiple variations in the pronunciation of His well-known name: Kuth, Kuthu, Kutha, Kurkyl. This Entity is known not only to the Northern peoples of Eurasia but also to the indigenous peoples of North America, such as Eskimos and Native Americans, who have their own names for this Archdemon. It is believed everywhere that the Raven, especially Kuth, was the Creator-Creator of the World as a whole, including people and all living beings. It is also believed that He negotiated with other Gods to accomplish His creation of the physical world.
In all of this, this Deity, or Archdemon, was endowed in the beliefs of the peoples as a creator (a benevolent creator) as well as a destroyer (a malicious destroyer). Either as a wise, kind Raven or as the same Raven, only evil and cunning, bringing both benefits and troubles to people. As mentioned earlier, He is the Protector of Shamanism and Shamans, hence the Patron of Magicians and Sorcery.
In other traditions, for example, in Ancient European, Greek, and Scandinavian traditions, the Raven is simply an "Advisor, a co-participant in the implementations of the Gods' Intentions." The Raven is also mentioned in the Hebrew Tanakh as performing important functions, such as during the global flood. This indicates that in some ethnic groups, the Raven is no longer the central figure in creation but is merely a "helper," carrying out certain specialized functions. It becomes immediately noticeable that the representation of Raven Mysticism as an "Unusual Bird" varies greatly. But in one aspect, they all agree: the direct connection of the Raven with Mysticism, Darkness, Death, Chaos, and similar themes. These are the testimonies of myths and folklore.

What does Modern Occultism say about this Totemic Bird? Very often, Kuth is invoked for protection, defense, and luck. His energy and influence are also frequently utilized in Love Magic. This Bird is also mentioned in spells associated with curses of Death and in Necromancy as well. As we can see, all of His functions are widely utilized in Magic even in our days. The attention of the Archdemon Kuth has not escaped my notice either.

Searching for "Raven in Sumeria" in a search engine, a quick response provided a brief overview related to my query:

"The ancient Sumerians referred to the Raven as the 'great storm bird,' while the Babylonians identified the constellation with the bird-god Anzud, who stole the tablets of destiny from the supreme deity Enlil. There are several myths in mythology related to the Raven constellation that are somehow connected to the god Apollo, who had this bird as a companion."

This interpretation, mixed from the testimonies of different traditions and ethnic groups, is quickly provided by modern search engines "working in conjunction with Artificial Intelligence." In my opinion, it's also a good answer, although not exhaustive, unfortunately.

And even in Sumer there was a city called "Kutha". I couldn't find out what this means in Russian from official sources. It seems to be a proper name. Based on scientific articles of ethnologists, Sumerologists, linguists, and the like, it seems impossible to find more information on this matter. What can be established from Ancient Sumerian-Akkadian themes nowadays? When only one tablet with cuneiform and some archaeological artifacts remain from the Sumerian-Akkadian Civilization. Even the language of the Ancient Sumerians is "reconstructed very approximately." However, practicing Sumerian-Akkadian Black Magic, I have encountered many gods and demons with bird forms. Regarding the mentioned Anzud above, I can accurately say that He is primarily related to predatory birds. Specifically, Eagles, Hawks, Falcons. And much closer to Harpies. He is also their Patron, embodying their properties and qualities. This is what I have been able to establish through my Shamanic Practices and Occult Methods of personal research. But let's return to the Raven Kuth-Kurkylu.
As previously noted, very little is known in modern times about the Sumerian-Akkadian World based on Scientific Evidence. Particularly about their religion as well. Apart from the Enuma Elish tractate (When on High). Also, there are no mentions of gods and demons with the properties and features of ravens-like birds there. And a legitimate question would be posed by the Dear Reader- So what does Kuth, Kurkyl mean here? Well, it is relevant. It is time to reveal a certain "veil of secrecy of my Occult Studies." I stumbled upon Kuth arbitrarily many years ago, still at the beginning of my Witchcraft Path. I interacted with this Patron of Shamanism back then with a certain regularity. Accordingly, I read literature available about Him- the Raven Archdemon Kuth. And I gathered information from other Practitioners and Shamans about Him. In terms of meditations, inspirations, and gnosis, I conducted many Practices dedicated to Him. Numerous Shamanic personal Practices were directly related to Him. Years passed, and many of them passed before the moment when I became interested in Sumerian-Akkadian Black Magic, and practiced accordingly. And at the beginning of my practice of this tradition, the Archdemon Kuth-Kurkyl revealed himself to me even more, more often, and more swiftly than before. Although I had never experienced any lack of Mental "communication" and interaction with Him before. This Archdemon began to reveal information about Himself to me in colossal volumes, also through meditations with Him, inspirations, and gnosis. And even through Prophetic Dreams, Lucid Dreaming. And as if by an inner voice, I understood that ancient civilizations "opened up" this Deity. And miraculously, legends and fame of Him somehow reached Northern peoples. Life on planet Earth is also mysterious and amazing- it's foolish not to agree with this. And so I decided to get an answer to my question from the Archdemon Kuth Himself.
As usual, I conducted meditation and sent a request for gnosis. And in the end, here is what came to me in the Revelation itself:
On my first question - Whose creation are you, who is your creator? - I was clearly and distinctly given: Shab Niggurath. That is Kusarriku. (Ancient Sumerian deity).
On my second question - Which people first recognized you, where did the rumor about you start? - Likewise, clearly, briefly, and distinctly, the answer was given to me: SUMERIA! Partially from India!
I believe that scholars in the fields of ethnology, Sumerology, Oriental studies, linguistics, history, archaeology, etc. have something to work on (there is a hint of my joke in this conclusion).

In general, without any doubt, I can confidently convey to both novice practitioners of occultism and those who are developing, that the Archdemon Kuth-Kurkyl represents the image of a Huge Black Raven, is the Patron of Shamanism and Shamans, that is, Sorcerers and Occultism in general. He is one of the Greatest Archdemons. The range of His Influence is very vast: He can assist in Luck, Enchantments, Necromancy, Divinations, and even Curses. In terms of Strength, He does not yield to many well-known Archdemons. His Sigil, or Sign, is a symbolic representation: Any image of a Raven with outstretched wings. The one depicted in this article above is suitable. I wish all Occult Practitioners success and prosperity in applying this knowledge!

To all those who were simply curious - I wish you all the most positive and pleasant mood!
